Message from the Dean

Dear students,

Welcome to the School of Information Technology. We are one of the schools in TMC Academy that aims to provide quality education in the Asia Pacific region.

TMC Computer School was established in 1981. We are renamed TMC Academy - School of Information Technology in 2005. We have grown from offering one computer diploma in 1984 to the current suite of Diplomas, Higher Diplomas, Degrees to Masters as well as corporate and skill-based IT trainings. Our courses include IT skills that are in demand in the infocomm industry. We have also introduced new areas of study such as animation and games design. Our Diplomas and Higher Diplomas are validated by Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) and jointly awarded by CIE and TMC. CIE is renowned in education and assessment. As such, our Diplomas and Higher Diplomas are widely recognised by universities worldwide.

We are proud to have a strong pool of full-time lecturers who are dedicated and approachable. Most of them hold a Masters degree and have years of teaching and related working experience. They are passionate in education and students are always welcomed to consult them face-to-face or via electronic means such as emails.
