Deakin
University has a good reputation for excellence in teaching
and is ranked in the top band of Australian universities by
the Australian Government's Committee for Quality Assurance
in Higher Education. Deakin University has achieved a 'Five
Star' Graduate Satisfaction Rating every year from 1994 to
1997 in the Graduate Careers Council of Australia survey of
university graduates. Deakin University was also honored,
in 1995, with the prestigious 'Australian University of the
Year' award for its innovative use of information technology.
