Postgraduate Certificate
One of the following:

• Degree from University of London
• Degree from an acceptable university
• 5 years relevant working experience, such as accounting, banking, finance, insurance, law or policing

Postgraduate Diploma
One of the following:

• Degree from University of London with at least 2nd Class Honours
• Degree from an acceptable university equivalent to 2nd Class Honours
• Postgraduate Certificate in Law

Master of Laws
One of the following:

• LLB Degree from University of London with at least 2nd Class Honours
• First Degree in a subject appropriate to the LLM from an acceptable university equivalent to 2nd Class Honours
• Masters degree in a subject appropriate to the LLM from an acceptable university
• Qualified solicitor or barrister
• Postgraduate Diploma in Law

English Language Requirements

If your first language is not English you must provide acceptable evidence that you have no more than three years prior to application, either:

• Substantial education (min 18 months) conducted in English
• Substantial work experience (min 18 months) conducted in English
• Passed a test of proficiency in English acceptable by UOL.
  For example, IELTS 6.5 (min of 6.0 in each sub-test), TOEFL 580 (237 in the computerized test) plus 4 in the Test of Written English.
• For TOEFL iBT a total score of 92, with at least 22 in both Reading and Writing Skills sub-tests and at least 20 in both Speaking and Listening sub-tests.
