The degree aims to develop students’ knowledge and understanding of a range of topics including:

• organisational decision making
• drivers for change within organizations and the appropriate solutions
• the impact of global business environment
• use of financial tools for decision making
• and emergent business and management issues

It includes the development of specific practical and professional skills, such as the use IT, using and integrating a range of vocational management skills and knowledge to solving organisational problems and issues, using appropriate management tools to the evaluation of strategic options.

This degree is designed to be delivered over a period of 12 months in full-time mode, and over eighteen months in part-time mode.  The academic year is based on two semesters, with students studying 2 or 3 modules per semester depending on their mode of study.

This programme is wholly delivered in Singapore.  Students will have access to local lecturers and the on-line resources provided by the University of Gloucestershire.

These will be a combination of lectures, tutorials, seminars, presentations and sessions in computer laboratories where appropriate.  Students will also be given additional work to complete outside of the scheduled classes.

Resources materials provided for students will include lecture notes and references  for further reading in books, professional journals, publications, articles and websites. 

Modules are assessed by means of examination and/or coursework.
